How should i format my transcend mp840 - Transcend T-Sonic 840 MP3 Player

Hi,

There is not such antivirus software for any MP3 player.
Just connect your player via USB cable.
Right click the device and select scan for threats.
The antivirus program(whichever you have installed) will starts scanning.

To resolve this issue, format the player using the computer. Also scan the player for any viruses using antivirus program. Even after performing the format the issue is not resolved then you would need to press the Reset button to restore it to its default settings. The reset program will erase all of the settings on the T.sonic. The reset button is on the right side of player. Keep that button pressed for at least 5-10 seconds. Insert your memory card into your computer's reader if you have one. If not, you can purchase a multi-format USB Memory Card reader from Amazon.com or Buy.com

Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.

Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.

In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.

Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place.

Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.

In Transcend T-Sonic 840, the video format accepted is .mtv It won't support any other video format. You put the transcend software CD and install the MTV converter. Convert your favorite video to .mtv format and then put that .mtv video file in to your player. Now you can enjoy video.

when i bought the ipod it was working good.The first problem encountered was my windowsxp couldnot able to recognize MTP player (ipod),but there was no problem with listening the songs i.e through ear phones.It was continued for some days.And now i cant able to listen the songs also.when i switch on my ipod it is displaying the transcend name thats it not going to next step.it is like the hang mode. PLZ solve my problem

Transcend mp840 ipod not working

1.download the appropriate firmware from here 2.press and hold reset button for 2 seconds 3.run the firmware updater 4.press and hold "volume -" button while connecting to system. 5.the updater will detect the player and it will upgrade the firmware.
