I have a Philips Universal cheapie remote, along with boo-koos of others; just want to set this thing so my RCA DVD DRC200N can do more than turn on/off/play and suck in or spit out the DVDs.

I have an RCA universal remote (RCR412S), and none of the DVD codes included with the remote will work with this RCA DVD player (DRC200N). If someone knows a code for this player please post it.

I have a Radio Shack 5-in-1 Family Favorites universal remote and I cannot get it to work with my RCA DRC200N DVD player. The codes I have tried that do not work are 0522, 0571, 0717, 0822, 1022, 1132, 1913, 1965, and 1974. Any help would be great thanks - the Buffy DVDs stupidly contain no "play all" option so without remote control operation I can't navigate through the menus and therefore can only watch the first episode on each disk. *rolls eyes*

RCA4358 4-in-1 remote doesn't have any codes that work with the RCA DRC200N either.

Panasonic remote does not recognize any of the codes given to operate the RCA DRC200N DVD player. Please let me know of any codes that might work.

I finally found a code that works. Code 3144 worked. I am using the RCA universal remote control RCR412S and RCA DVD player DRC200N. The code 3144 is listed under Memorex in the code book that came with the remote control.

I picked up a RCA universal control RCR412BN and was able to use it on the DRC200N
using the Memorex codes 30831. Hope you will be just as lucky.

I also tried the Memorex DVD code and found that it also worked. I'm using an RCA universal remote (RCA3273). Code for the DRC200N DVD player was 3391. Hope this is helpful.

I am using a GE universal remote control and for this rca DRC200N I program it with a 3 digit code 446 (this remote control code is under memorex dvd's)

I have a philips universal remote and the MEMOREX code 0246 worked for my RCA DRC200N. The rca codes didnt work, but for some reason the memorex code did. hope this helps!

Ironically enough, the RCA RCU410MS universal remote I bought to use on my TV, VCR and RCA DRC200N DVD player would control everything BUT the RCA DVD player.

Thanks to fastbrake2's advice, I was able to finally found a code that worked: code 144.

It is listed under Memorex in the code book that came with the remote control, so I suggest anyone having the same issue with programming this DVD player to try the Memorex codes on their remote if the RCA codes do not work.

I just wanted to report that I had success with the Memorex code also. I have a Toshiba 30" WideScreen SDTV, and I was never able to get an RCA code to work. The memorex one works perfectly!
