I purchased a AC 2 weeks ago, intial 1 week i dont have any problem in cooling with single booster 4 KVA, but after 2 weeks, i used to encouter problem like when my compressor starts the AC gets off and again restarting after 3 mins but it keeps on when it works on FAN mode but when i change the mode to cool, its getting off when compressor on(Clicking sounds), after getting advise from my friend he suggested me to go for double booster, so o purchased V gaurd 5 KVA double booster, but still when my voltage drops the ac gets off, can you please justify whether the problem is with AC or Voltage, if i use double booster then i shoul work right ??, but the same is not working. please suggest a solution.

If the unit is running in cold weather than there is ice building up on the coils located outside. This is normal in that the unit is running in heat pump mode heating inside and cooling outside, After the unit detects the ice build up it briefly reverses the cycle heating the outside coils melting(defrosting) the ice which you observe as water on the pad.
You have a leak,to see if you do,get a spray bottle, put soap water in it and spray all a.c.lines and see if it bubbles up any where.Look for usual stains at connections.
The capacitor starts the motor. You would have had some other problem had the motor not started. The A/C ran until the failing capacitor no longer provided the ability to start the motor at which point your A/C died.
My A/C bulged both its capacitors 2+yrs ago and it's been running ever since they were replaced, no problem.
I think you're OK.
Take it back or call Sears. A 2 week old unit should not do that. I'll assume the settings are right like set on AC Auto or Max cool and not just fan. Are the coils icing or were they icing behind the filter? If not, I think it may need to be serviced.
It could be a relay for the compressor is sticking in the run position. If it is only about one week old take it back to the dealer for service or call them and tell them your problem. This should be covered by warranty and the dealer can refer you to someone authorized to do the work.

Why do you need a booster to begin with ? What is the supplied voltage. A little more detail please.
