Need instructions on how to program all ten buttons for different temperatures for we have no manual that shows us how. We manually programmed button number 1 for 350 degrees F and it works, but can'
We inherited a Lang Electric Commercial Oven in our little bakery. We figured out how to manually program the number 1 slot to 350 degrees F, but do not know how to program the other 9 slots for different temperatures. The previous owner did not leave a manual for us to be able to do this process. Can you please give us instructions on programming the individual other buttons? Thanking you in advance for your assistance in the above problem.

Check out this web site for your manual. The model EHS-APM is not listed but there are other units with multiple programming options. You will have to browse somewhat but what you are looking for is probably there.
Good Luck and hope this helps.

1
Fill
the insert of the Corningware slow cooker with food and cover it with
the lid. At least a quarter of the insert should be filled with liquid
to keep the environment moist during long cooking times.
2
Press
the "On/Off" button on the left side of the electronic control panel in
the front of the appliance. This will turn on the slow cooker to the
low heat "Warm" setting.
3
Press
the "Cook Time" button on the right side of the electronic control
panel to add hours to the timer which will show a total time in hours
with a red digital display. Continue to press the button until the
display indicates the desired cook time in one-hour increments up to 10
hours. The cooker will automatically adjust the temperature setting
based on the amount of time you programmed on the timer. Cooking times
of six hours or less automatically start on "High" heat and times of
seven hours or more will start on "Low" heat. A small indicator light
will come on below the word to tell you the cooking temperature.
You will need to check the oven calibration using a thermocouple based thermometer(the one you stick in the oven is not reliable). Electric ovens should keep a near constant tempature so if you have it set to 350 the oven should stay around 350 once temp is reached. Now gas ovens are a little different. Most use a on/off thermostat and that means the temp can vary from 320 degrees to 370 degrees to keep an average tempature of 350. So if it is a gas oven you will need to let it warm-up for 10 minutes then start taking the lowest and highest 5 consectutive readings. Then add the 5 reads together and then divide the number by 5 and it should be within 10 degrees of the set tempature. If it is off by more than 50 degrees then you might not be able to get it back to proper calibration. The calibration methods are different for each range and depend on the type of thermostat you have digital(push button controls) or manual(knob). The owner's manual for your range might contain the instructions or consult the manufacture's website for the instructions.
