Hi, Look in the freezer for a frost build up on the rear panel. Also listen for the evaporator fam motor. Please let me know and I can help you further.
Thanks

If it was frosty and not solid ice, there are three parts to the defrost cycle. YUou should start by removeing the rear cover again and check continuity on the defrost heater and the termination switch (most be cold in order to test the termination switch). If both of these test good, then you will need to change the defrost board which is located in the control panel in the fresh food side.

Freezer not getting cold and dripping water

I own a similar Kitchen Aid fridge that had a defrost icing issue: Kitchen Aid KSRP25FNBL00
> Ice had plugged the drain hole at bottom of chill coil section inside the freezer compartment.
> I learned that the coil, circulation fan was not working, but condenser was working.
> I paid a tech to replace the circ fan, about $200, including a new swiss-made fan. He said it was unusual for these fans to fail, but not unheard of.
Expensive, but saved the purchase of a new fridge. Has worked great for 6 months since then.
HOpe that helps.

Freezer not freezing on side by side fridge

Try turning the unit off and leaving the door open for half a day or more in case there is ice clogging something somewhere? If there is no cooling going on whatsoever and fan/s and compressor are running it sounds like a gas leak has devaloped or the compressor has stopped working correctly. If the compressor has stopped then possibly the controll circuitry to it has a problem.

Hope this might help

Upper freezer is working but the temperature in the fridge part is approx. 65 degrees -- not cold.

This is a malfunction of the control board. The control board is telling the refridge side that it is plenty cold - so it doesn't divert the cold air needed to keep the refridge side cool enough. Check to see the the coils in the freezer are frozen - if they are, unplug the unit and defrost with a hair dryer. Dry up the water and turn it back on - that should solve your problem.

Moved refrig this morning and now it is not cooling... freezer works great

Hih, Check and see if something has stopped the condenser fan motor down by the compressor from turning. Sometimes this happens in a move.
Also make sure the controls didn't get turned to wrong settings. Make sure evaporator fan motor is working in freezer and that there is no frost building up on the rear panel.
Just some ideas to help you.
lease let me know if I can assist you further.

Thanks
