You will need to login to the router and change its configuration. Usually routers have a default IP address of 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1. You can access it through a web browser by typing in that IP address. The default login is usually user:admin password:admin.
facebook is supposed to ask for a password. That's how it prevents people from stealing your password. if you dont remember it click the forgot password under the login
if its got xp on backdoor route it you can do this by turning it on tappin f8 booting in safe mode this will temporily creat a admin account login in to that and change password of the offending account it should work.
Try pressing ctrl alt del twice at the login screen and you should get a different login window where you can change the username. Change it to administrator and press enter without any password
Try looking on the modem itself, sometimes they have their default username and password written on them.
Try combinations of "user" or "admin".
eg username: "admin" password "admin"
if these don't work and you don't know why you can't log into your modem, try resetting your modem using the reset button on it (or holding the power button for 10-20sec) and then try the above suggestion again.
If you still can't login, write back with your modem make and model number.
