Frozen keyboard my keyboard is not responding. unable to do anything.

You possibly have a spyware infection, (like a virus)

if you reboot and have the same problems, then try booting into safe mode, if keyboard still locked up, try using an external keyboard (to test your system), if the external keybard works then it may just be that your keyboard is broken (and needs replacing)

    safe mode is press F8 while booting (before the windows splash screen)

go to the vendor, maybe your keyboard need a replacement. but if you willing to use your netbook, if you have any external keyboard, just plug it and use it, that will override your netbook keyboard

Call Dell open a ticket and ship it back to them. Could be many things. Was anything spilled on the laptop or was the laptop violently jarred or dropped?

replae the keyboard. it can be done easily with a few screwn to remove. ebay the new keyboard for about $25

Can't access desktop, windows won't load so pc won't shut down


Hold th epower button down on your tower for about 5-10 seconds and it should shut off. Then you can turn it back on. If that doesnt shut it down you can always pull the power cord.

I've sorted it! Tried 2 sets batteries 1st then thought, maybe I should try a different set - 3rd time lucky...it worked

HP laptop keyboard frozen


Hello. If your laptop model is TX-something (convertible screen), do remove battery + powercable. Wait. Start your laptop. If this does not work, you may wish to reset bios.

Keep looking for BIOS update, because problem will repeat until HP address the issue.

Keyboard does not respond


open your iTouch configuration dialog box, cordless
tab, press connect, press connect button under keyboard.
should work. i have to do that every time i boot up...don't
know why...
