The buffering problem could be your internet bandwidth. Crackle content is streamed at a lower resolution than Netflix. Netflix movies are mostly HD which they suggest a bandwidth of 5.0 megabits, as opposed to Crackle's SD movies requiring only 1.5 megabits. Check your bandwidth and see if that's your problem....good luck.

Hulu and Netflix etc will not stop buffereing every minute or two....

Note that "buffering" occurs when the "stream" (audio and/or video) is not being received as fast as it is being consumed.
Find a "network speed test" web-site, to see if your Internet connection is working properly. Try different Ethernet cables, to ensure that a bad cable is not causing any problems. If you have other computers on your in-house network, turn them off, to see if they have been "heavy" users of your Internet connection.

Having problems steaming netflix through our TV

It could be buffering when it stops playing your video. You dont need a real fast internet connection but it shouldnt be real slow either. Ive noticed that if you get the basic monthly internet its only providing 3 mbps. Which is slow and will cause the video to buffer. Mine is only a step above at about 7 mbps and I have no problems with buffering. Is this is the case just upgrade to a faster speed through your internet carrier.

if so upgrade to a faster speed.Hope this helped.

I have a internet stick on my Samson flat screen tv. added Hughes satalite for good speed. I added an extender also.

Can you run netflix on a computer without buffering? It might be your internet connection. Usually Netflix will lower the quality of the picture to avoid buffering and will increase in quality when the internet picks up. Netflix also uses different software depending wether it's computer (Microsoft silver light), a gaming console, or a smart tv in your case.

Computer buffering

i believe that your internet conection is too slow. There-for the play back speed is going faster than your incomming speed, so you get a lot of buffering. Check into a couple of ways to speed your internet up some. Good luck!!

I am hooked up wireless to my ps3 but when i try to watch a movie on Netflix it only plays for 30 seconds and buffers, then plays for 30 seconds and buffers. I can put my laptop next to the ps3 and...

First restart the ps3 and try to load the movie again see if that helps or not.
If the Netflix still only loads on your ps3 but keeps on buffering this might be cause by not enough bandwidth allocated for your ps3. Try turning off your computer and all the devices that are connected the internet. Then try again.
