Either the power supply is faulty , maybe some electrolytic capacitors need replacing. Or perhaps the EHT High Voltage feedback loop to it is inoperative due to a gradually failing state of one or more components in the Horizontal drive or Output stages. This is not a job for a non-technician and needs checking out by a Technician with the right test equipment ot analyse the problem and find the fault/s and fix it. Dangerous voltages exist which could be very harmful if not fatal!

Fault with main board. Shorted component/s. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
this again sounds like the power supply,.if you hear a click when you push the power button, this means your main board is reading good so replace the power supply,.
it sounds like Amp burned, but not all burn parts you can see, you have to measure them by DMM. I guess at least one AMP transistor shorted. you can check SPK terminals by DMM DC, it can be easy to find different with other one
I got similar issue and managed to fix it with excellent tech support from NAD. Flashing LED means system goes in to protective mode. Most probable reason is presence of DC voltage on amplifier out puts. In my case it was both surround amps. It had faulty resistor and a dry jpint at power line
