Hi,

    Take out the lid of back side of ur phone..take out the battery, after that just see there, there will be a place to insert sim ..open the lid from the place ..insert sim in that and place the lid over that place.

After inserting the sim card it goes restart and ask for changing the profile from offline,when i try to change the profile from offline to others it hang and restarts showing the offline while sim inserted!tried with different sim but no use.

L have a X on my Nikia 6680 and l cannot make or recive calls
If you have an X on the Nokia phone that means the phone is offline.

Go to profile and select the "General" profile

You might need to restart the Phone.

Or else you can simply press the power button and change the profile to General.

This will take care of the issue.

Note: Please make sure you have the SIM card in your phone and it is inserted correctly.

My phone nokia 6680 has been in the offline mode.i want remove it
when you insert sim in your phone after using it offline,it should ask you if you want to continue using your phone in offline mode...select NO..Otherwise your phone cannot detect the sim card..clean sim terminals..if problem persists check and reheat sim filter IC..the crystal one, near the sim terminals itself..if all fails then UPP (CPU) or software problem..

Nokia e65 phone is stuck on offline mode.

Off line mode
it may be the problem with sim card once u try it in any other handset if the same problem exists its the sim card problem only take a duplicate of it. U try once keeping other sim card in ur 6680 handset if other sim is working, u can contack ur nearest nokia care.
