test the monitor on 2 PC, see if monitor fails.
easy no? simple test.
reset the monitor. in mon OSD menu , click reset

also do not exceed the monitors resolution MAX sped.

as you can see it does not do 1080p 1080p (1920×1080) as most folks want.(movies etc) , no PC told, no OS told so can't go deeper.

One or two CCFL lamps inside the display panel might have gone weak.; [low light emission]. Check and replace them.

Try to search in the internet,just type and search the VGA connector diagram.

your max resolution is 1600 x 1200

check for Horizontal output transistor and flyback conditions..

usual cause is defective 5 volts 3 pin regulator..

you can try running ubuntu http://www.ubuntu.com/ on your computer, its pretty easy to install and its really neat. its very different from windows however but it works great. best of all its FREE!

of course you can look filesharing sites for copies of Windows XP or Vista (wink wink), but i can't help you with that since its agains't FixYa's piracy policy and i don't want trouble.

There is no adjustment on the m300 v300 m700 v700. These hinges will have to be replaced. I do have a set from an v300 am not sure if they are compatible but you can have them if you want.
