Hey,
I recently purchased a Mag 14" LT-456s LCD Monitor. Upon trying to plug the unit into the AC adapter cable provided, I could not find the port to plug the cable into the back of the monitor. Next to the video cable on the bottom of the unit is what appears to be a small metal plate that is more than likely in place to protect the AC adapter port. However, I cannot figure out how to remove the plate in order to access the port. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.
The power cable plus into the port which is on the VGA connector. The metal plate you mention is a hinge I think.

I was finally able to get the plate off only to discover there is nothing under it at all. Unfortunately, I am still unsuccessful in finding out where the power cable plugs into this monitor as there are no other alternatives that I can see. If anyone has a model similar to this or can provide me with any kind of information about this model, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks again.
Finally got the issue resolved. The power connector port is actually on the back of the VGA connector that plugs into the back of the computer. Strange place for a power connector but of course was the only place I did not think to check. Thanks all for the help and time.
