Hold the blue fn key (function key) then press the numlk (numbers lock) this will enable or disable the calculator feature on the keyboard.

You probably activated the "Num Lock" accidently. Just hold down the FN and look for the key that says "num lock" Now you should have your keyboard back and the numbers will just type when you hit the numbers key. I did this to myself yesterday!
SOURCE: the letter L key is not working
You have a faulty keyboard. Need to change the whole keyboard since you cannot change just only one letter key.
Note: If machine is under warranty no need to pay for the repairs.
