The picture becomes unclear at low light condition.

I just bought one on ebay for 25.00 just put in the battery pack # its probably RB-Li55 if its for the mintek 1815 player

You could always tape it to the bottom and or back with double sided tape this is what i've done with mine. Works great.

Mine is doing the same thing. I turn it on, it lights up, it says open, but it won't play dvds or cds. Its not spinning and theres no sound. It used to be a good little player. Is it fixable for a reasonable price or is it shot? Thanks for your help, Jim
