Acer Extensa 4632z keybord key, Space-z-v-b-and-right Arrow-Delet is not working

for keybord light you can use "fn + right arrow" make sure tat the fn key is not locked

You probably flipped the screen orientation (rotated it).

For some versions of Windows (XP and Vista), try pressing Control (Crtl)+Alt+Up arrow (press the three keys together). You can also try the other arrow keys with the Crtl+Alt keys. The Crtl and alt keys are both usually in the row with the space bar. On a full-size keyboard, there are two Ctrl keys on the ends of the row and the alt keys are closest to the space bar.

Otherwise, right click on the Desktop (where there are no programs or icons) and choose Graphics Options > Rotation. Another place to check is right click on the desktop and choose Screen Resolution > Orientation. This is a shortcut to accessing the display properties in the Control Panel. Click Start > Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Display > Screen Resolution. For a widescreen monitor, choose Landscape.

(The ctrl+alt+arrow key doesn't work on my Win7 desktop but does work on the laptop. The Orientation change from the control panel works on both.)

Try the following:

For Windows Vista / 7
1. Press the Fn+Left Arrow Key for brightness down and Fn+Right Arrow Key for brightness up (the Fn key is located at the left side of the space bar)
2. If that won't work, go to Start > type Power Options and click on the Power options icon.



3. Adjust the screen brightness bar below.

1. Press the F2 key to enter BIOS Setup during Power-On Self-Test (POST while the Acer logo is being displayed).
2. Using the keyboard arrow keys, arrow over to Boot.
3. Refer to on screen instructions to set the first device to CDROM.
4. Press the CD-ROM drive eject button and insert the System CD.
5. Close the CD-ROM tray.
6. Press the F10 key, and then the Enter key to save the changes and reboot the system.
7. The computer will boot from the Acer Recovery Media, follow the prompts to reinstall the Operating System.
8. Note: If you do not have a set of Acer Recovery Media they may be purchased at online Acer order form..

Hi,
Press your space bar (continues for 5 seconds) than try the keys.

Then you have uninstalled the wrong programmes (they wouldn't take up that much space anyway) Go to the Acer site and download the software for your lappy and reinstall.

Fn+right arrow key (below the pg dwn key) to brighten

1. Go to: http://gd.panam.acer.com/home/
2. Click "Notebook" under "Select Product Family".
3. Click "Extensa" under "Select Product Line".
4. Scroll down & select "Extensa 5420" under "Select Product Model".
5. Click on the down arrow opposite to the component you want to download the drivers for.

click on the arrow that beside the house icon in ur broser and choose delet then delet acer as a homepage

I have acer extensa 4620-4605 notbook. When I bought it everything was working very good. Now I am facing some problems related with key board. The two extra keys for euro and dollar above the arows are not working. I am unable to understand how to overcome this problem. Please help me in this regards.
