My camera won't download pictures to my computer

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Do I need a driver for my sanyo vpc 5885 digital camera because it won't download pictures to my computer via USB anymore. It turns on and then as soon as I push "set" for the PC the lense...

Easiest solution is to get a USB card reader and then use that to transfer the data - the PC will just see the card as an extra drive.

I used to be able to download my pictures to the computer but ever since I started using the anti virus kaspersky its not letting me downlaod pictures anymore?
