Which model do you have? There is an optional card to install before you can have it connected to an Ethernet network if you just have the 4100 model.

Specific print driver and software information for printing in Win 7 is available for HP LaserJet, Color LaserJet and LaserJet MFP products.

This printer cannot be installed with installation disc or download.
