Error I have two same scanner and whenever you any of them computer gives same error. Scanner screen gets locked with colorful. and Error says see manual (which i don't have) and Code: 2, 1, 0. Do you have any idea what the hack is this. Please help me out. Thanks,

First try to Reset the scanner and computer:
1.
Turn off the scanner power.
2.
Unplug the USB cable and power from
the scanner.
3.
Reboot (restart) the computer.
4.
Plug the USB cable and power cable
back into the scanner.
5.
Turn the scanner back on.

Scanners should not have "sounds" inside so my wild guess is that something is broken and you should call to a repaiir resvide to get a diagnosis.

Hi, what you want to do is, first; (shutdown) your Scanner, next (shutdown) the computer. Disconnect the scanner, and unplug it from the outlet. Disconnect scanner cables from the computer; Note: do not change anything on the computer. Reconnect cables to the computer. Plug scanner back into the power outlet; turn on computer, turn scanner on. This may clear the (Freeze); but the (Error) might appear again. Thanks paul7of9

What is the error message? SCANNER ERROR?
If that is what you getting, turn printer off then open scanner cover- on the left hand side there is a toggle log for scanner, position it to unlock then turn printer on then try scanning/copying again.

if your having a different error message pls indicate the exact error that you are getting.

When powered on printer 3055 it gives error on control panel that
"Scanner error 6 Trun off and then on "
after several restart printer gives the same error
