hat type of connection do you have? if you connect everything and put 192.168.0.1 in the address field in the browser you will be taken to the dlink router setup page. the default username is admin and the password is admin. from there you should see a setup link.

Are you able to enter the setup wizard at all?
Enter 192.168.0.1 in your browser address bar, admin is the username and the password is left blank. Is this what you mean?

Lost my setup wizard cd for a X-Micro XWL-11GRIX router

First, Go START | RUN... and type CMD.
When black windows apears, type ipconfig and write down the gateway. This is the address you have to use on your browser. The router will most probaly ask a login and password. Try admin for login and password. It change form manuf. to manuf. Search your Manual for Default Password.

Followed dirrections on how to install D-link wireless USB adapter DWL-G122. Removed setup disc and rebooted with D-link pluged in. Found new hardware wizard window came up. Then wizard needed permission...

Your drivers could be outdated have you tried updating the drivers by going to the D-Link site ?

Drivers on the Driver CD may be outdate and fail.
