Most probable that either you have downloaded the wrong firmware, or the website has an incorrect link. Make sure u select the right 1 and try again, hope it works (ps, in the url at the top of the page, it should link u to a page that says summet similar to the model of your player such as www.website.com/download/nano.zip as an example...

Change the battery, or send it to somewhere to get it fixed.

Well, if you are new to the creative zen Nano plus, you may not have figured out how to turn it on. hold the play/pause button until the mp3 lcd screen lights up and that should work. if this is not the case i am sorry i cant help, but i also have a creative zen Nano Plus so i could find out for both of our benefits. i hope i helped!

here is a fix if your creative zen nano plus just hang on the creative logo when you turn your player on.
download, Creative ZEN Nano Plus firmware.
you can find it at the creative website, download section.
double click the file you just dl'ed, now make sure your
zen nano player is already connected to your pc when you run the file. it may take a bit of time before your pc can detect your zen nano be patient, a window prompt will soon appear asking if you want to update your firmware with the one youve just dl'ed.
now, dont worry if the firmware is the same as the one already
installed in your zen nano, just continue with the update.
you can also check the box in which there is the option of also formatting the drive. ( note: all files in your zen nano will be lost)
after the firmware is flashed you can now play and transfer files to your zen nano plus.

Write to Creative's Helpdesk... So did I for the same problem. I'm waiting for their answer.
