Turn off protected mode

Look at your memory card. SD and SDHC cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

Disconnect all speakers Meter power, remote, ground at amp, if all is good move on, if not check main fuses
Turn amp on; If in protect mode then your amp is toast Turn amp on, if not in protect mode then start reconnecting speakers one by one until your amp goes into protect mode, then you'll know which speaker is bad.

My denon avr1200 receiver once it is turned on goes into Protection mode. How do you reset or make work?

The reciever will go into protection mode when there is a short in the speaker wires or the amplifier was overloaded. What I would do first is verify that none of the speaker wire connections are loose at the back of the reciever or at each speaker. And verify that none of the wires are making contact with each other. Then label each speaker wire as you remove them from the reciever so you can re-install them correctly. After you have disconnected the speaker wires try unplugging the reciever for 10 to 15 minutes. Most recievers have a self-resetting overload protection switch and this should reset it back to normal. Now try plugging the reciever back in and turn it on without the speaker wires connected. It should be out of protection mode now. If it is still in protection mode verify that there is not a reset switch somewhere on the back of the reciever. If it is not in protection mode now then proceed to connect one speaker set at a time and turn on the reciever to see if it goes into protection mode. If it goes into that mode after connecting a speaker then that speaker is the cause of the problem. If it does not go into the mode after all speakers are connected then try turning the volume up. If it goes into protection mode then there could be an internal short on the amplifier or a incorrect OHM rated speakers connected to reciever. Verify that the speakers are rated the correct OHMS.

When i switch on my samsung HT-Z110 the word hello appears then protect thenit turned off!

Audio receivers have an output protection circuit called "protect mode", this is to protect the receiver from short circuit failures. The speakers and speaker wires are what I inspect thoroughly first, look for bare speaker wires,or bare wires that are touching each other at that point, check speaker wires at the back of the receiver for sloppy connections, etc. If all looks good then try disconnecting all the speakers at the receiver, then turn power on to see if it goes into "protect mode", if it does the the receiver probably has an internal short and will need to be sent in for service,if it doesn't go into "protect mode" then connect one speaker at a time back into the receiver until it does go into "protect mode" then which ever speaker you connected last is the speaker that is shorted(blown) and then you know that speaker is the problem and it will need to be replaced or repaired. Good luck !

Protection mode

It's normal for some amps to go into protect for a few seconds when initially powered up. If it remains in protect mode, it may have shorted output transistors. To eliminate other possible causes, read through the following troubleshooting page:

Protect Mode

Is it doing this while you have it turned right up? Most systems have protect mode because you are trying to draw to much power or amps through them. Are you trying to run to many or to large of a speaker through them all systems have rate output if you try to exceed this they go into protect mode so you don't blow the amp.
