SOURCE: explorer problelm with flash player

This is a security measure from Microsoft. Without clicking the it, it will not activate. This is done so that malicious Flash scripts/ActiveX scripts can't run automatically. You cannot change that.

I hope this helps.

Greetings,

DarkNeogen.

I can see the top half of the Yahoo mail screen but my email messages do not appear. It says I am signed in???

This problem may be caused by any the following: (you may stop troubleshooting when the problem is solved)

1) Reboot your computer
2) Active scripting and scripting of Java Applets not enabled

In IE click Tools > Internet Options
Click Security Tab, click Internet to select Internet Zone
Click Custom Level
Scroll down to section labeled Scripting
Select Enable for Active Scripting
Scroll down select enable for Scripting of Java Applets
Click OK (Are you sure? Yes)
Click OK on bottom of Internet Options window
Close and relaunch your browser
Try Yahoo! Mail again

3) Update Flash. Yahoo! Mail uses Flash technology. Updating to the current version of Flash can resolve many issues that can occur in Yahoo! Mail:

Install the current version of flash player:

Install Adobe Flash Player

4) Clearing your Internet browser cookies and cache

Click Tools > Internet Options
Click on Delete under Browsing History
Place a check in the Temporary Internet Files and Cookies checkboxes
Click the Delete button
Click the OK button at the bottom of Internet Options
Close and restart your browser.
Try Yahoo! Mail again.

That is as far as I will go for now. There are more things to try, but I would like you to try these solutions first. Let me know if you are unsuccessful.

Adobe flash player will not install on my computer. Windows XP! Need help? Any ideas?

How have you determined that the installation was unsuccessful?
Are you simply unable to view flash content? Or have you checked to see what's listed in the active x add-ons in your browser?
In Internet Explorer, for example, go to Tools, Manage Add-ons, and look to see if there is an active -x control from Adobe Systems, enabled or disabled, called Shockwave Flash Object and a version number. If you find this, flash is installed on your system. Make sure it is enabled.
Be aware that you may need to be running your system as a user with administrative rights to install Adobe Flash player.
If that's all in order, please follow these steps to workaround your issue:
  1. Please check to make sure your system meets the requirements for installation of the latest flash player, by going to this link and comparing to your system information. For current Flash Player system requirements, visit http://www.adobe.com/go/flashplayer_sysreq_en/
  2. Follow these steps in order: Troubleshooting flashplayer installation: http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_19166&sliceId=1
  3. That should have taken care of it! If not, Download and unzip Install_Flash_Player_10_ActiveX.zip. Extract this executable file to your desktop, close all applications, and run it from there.
  4. To confirm your installation, go here: http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/about/

If that fixed your issue, great! If not, please report back with details about the error messages you are receiving and give me some details about your system and I'll try to walk you through.

If I've been able to answer your question or solve a problem, please take a moment to kindly rate this post....thanks!

If you want to enable WMA playback, just go to the Recovery Menu of your PSP (do this by turning OFF your PSP [hold the off button up for about 10or more secs until your PSP completely shutsdown]
then go to REGISTRY HACKS> then you should see there the choices for BUTTON ASSIGN, ACTIVATE WMA PLAYBACK, and ACTIVATE FLASH PLAYER...just press X over ACTIVATE WMA PLAYBACK (it should be highlighted in RED) then you're done! Hope this helps!

How

You don't need to hook up your PSP to a PC just to enable WMA playback...What you need to do is go to recovery Menu (turn off your PSP, then turn it on while holding the R Trigger), while on the Recovery Menu, then Registry Hacks...there you will see options, "Button Assign, Activate WMA, and Activate Flash Player". just press X on them to activate if they aren't activated yet...

Unable to activate Adobe Flash Player 8 on a website after installing it

It may just be the website. The latest version of FlashPlayer ususally installs without a hitch (Adobe.com). Do you still have this problem?
