Disassemble of plug of battery charger

Hello, i've a w380i cellphone, while trying to disconect the battery charger the "plug" disassembled, it seems easy to reasessemble it. But, i don't know in which slot of the plug goes the red end (i guess is the positive) and in which goes the black one (i guess in the negative). I know they go towards one side, but i don't remember, starting by one side, how many slots have to be left empty, and how many slots goes empty between the red and black wires' ends
Could you help me?

Not charging Acer Aspire 5732z, now won't turn on!

If it does not work with the Charger while the battery is out then I would say either your charger is bad, the dc power jack where the charger plugs into the laptop is bad or you've got motherboard issues. Does the charger have a light on it to indicate that it is on when plugged in the wall? Do you see any lights when you plug the charger into the laptop?

Take an ink pen and see if the little pin inside the computer where the charger plugs is loose and moves a bit. If so that is probably your problem. If the pin is tight and the charger works, then you've got motherboard issues.

I have a Acer Aspire 5050-3371 Notebook. Before, I had a problem with it's battery and plug, so I disassembled it and found my DC input battery plug broken. I replaced the DC converter, and assembled...

Sometimes when the charger connector breaks, it shorts out the charging module on the motherboard, blowing it. It can also blow the external power supply.

If you can find someone else with a similar power supply, try using it. If that doesn't work, you've got bigger issues.

My laptop charger stops working when I plug it in to the port of the laptop. The laptop won't turn on

Try taking out the laptop battery and then plugging in your adapter / charger to the laptop.

If your machine still does not come on, then you probably have a blown capacitor in your charger.

If you are handy with a soldering iron then just disassemble the charger body and replace any suspect components.

Otherwise just order a new one.

Good luck.

Hello,

To disassemble the phone, you need to get he appropriate screwdrivers and follow the processes below;

  1. Turn your phone over so the battery cover is facing you. Remove the battery cover and battery. Next remove the 2 rubber stoppers and unscrew the aerial.
  2. Remove the screws,
  3. Next remove the 2 rubber stoppers & screws above the main screen,
  4. Prise the back part away from the rest of the phone by running your fingernail between where the two parts meet,
  5. Unclip the ribbon,
  6. After removing the ribbon cable, carefully lift the metal part. Another ribbon will be attached which should be carefully removed. Take the circuit board & keypad out and you'll be left with just the screen and the keypad rack.
  7. On the circuit board, you'll see the charging port and the broken charger that is in it.
  8. Try to pick it out with a pincher, and if you cannot, then you have to replace the charging port.
  9. Disconnect the charging port and replace it with a new one.
  10. Reverse the process to reassemble the phone back together.

  11. Take care.

Hi.

That means that the phone is not comleting the initial phone test, and not booting.

Remove also memory card.

Check the connector at the base of the phone, where you plug in the charger. Ensure that it is clean , and that there is nothing that can make contact in there (eg. oxide). If you need to clean the connector, remove the battery first.

Try holding the phone start button on top for about ten seconds.

Go to a shop and ask them to test a spare battery, or if you have a spare battery, test it. A shorted battery can cause the phone not starting.

If it is none of the above, then it is a faulty board. Also a short inside the phone or a faulty switch can cause the phone not starting. In that case the phone must be disassembled and repaired.

Regards.
