Question about Disney DT1350-C 13" TV

Remote I can't get the remote to work with the tv, it works fine with the dvd player.

As it works fine with dvd means it looks ok

you can do one thing you tune tv from font panel of tv if it works ok then problem in remote & if it does not then problem in tv.

better you reset tv once & then check

When I play DVD's my tv screen gets a rectangle box on it, the VHS is fine, it's just the DVD player.
Yes! you are right, this almost sounds like a captions problem, check the DVD/VCR Combo menu, if it has captions turn it off using your remote.

Hitachi DV-PF 2U dvd player works fine when hooked directy to TV (channel 3) but won't work when connected through the new COX digital cable box. TV is set to channel 4, dvd player turned on, disc...
If the cable box needs to be set to 4, the TV will need to be set to 4 as well as the dvd player. The hookup should be cable box to dvd player to the TV for your system to work. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks.

My rmt-d248p remote control doesnt work my dvd recorder anymore. The tv functions on the remote still work i.e. i can change the tv channels, volume and turn the tv on/off but any of the dvd recorder...
You may need to reprogram it to your dvd....hope this helps....

Does the DVD player have an RF output or only video? That's a drag there are no RF/Video buttons. I had a TV like that too. I suppose you already knew this. Remote controls for even newer TV's are hard to find. Good luck.
