Replaced control panel, still have blinking "clean" light and I don't think it ran for a full cycle. Soap pod was still in bottom of dishwasher.

SOURCE: problems with Whirlpool dishwasher model GU1500XTKB0

will these units (silo and jtrip) start back on their own? if so, it is likely they are heating the water.
otherwise it sounds like a logic board, unless there is a defective door switch or sensor issue.
electronics seem to be a recurring problem with whirlpool.
i would ask whirlpool (electorlux) to either buy it back or fix it.
good luck

QuietGuard3: Clean light flashing 7 times? Press Heated Dry, press Normal Wash, then press Heated Dry again and press Normal Wash again (that's 4 button-presses) and that should fix it.

SOURCE: ''Clean'' light is blinking, ''Cancel'' does not reset the cycle.

If the clean light flashes 7 times, pauses, then repeats...

When the dishwasher doesn't sense a water temperature increase, it stops working and locks the functions (clean light flashes 7 times, all buttons are non responsive). It does this as a safety in case the element is broken and feeding electrical current into the water.

To resolve this you will have to reset the console. Do this by closing the door and press these buttons in sequence...

-high temp wash
-heated dry
-high temp wash
-heated dry

...all the lights will turn on briefly and the machine will start a diagnostic cycle. You can press cancel or let the diagnostic cyle finish (1-2 minutes).
You should now be able to run the dishwasher as normal.

If the issue returns, you could have a problem with the heating circuit (ie. element, thermostat or wiring).
It rarely happens but it could also be the door switch not engaging properly when the door is closed (slightly bend the door latch down making sure it doesn't hit the door when you close it).

Good luck!

Clean light blinks on whirlpool dishwasher won't run

If you aren't sure whether Control Lock is on, press a cycle button on the keypad. If Control Lock is on, the light will blink three times.
Turning off Control Lock:
  1. Press and hold the Lock Button for four seconds. The lock light will disappear.
  2. Once off, you should be able to start your wash cycle.
Note: If Sleep Mode is on, turn that off first, then turn off Control Lock.

Like many other electronics, you may need to reset the dishwasher control panel by turning it off, waiting, then turning it back on.
  1. Press the OFF button.
  2. Disconnect the dishwasher from its power source by unplugging it or by turning the circuit breaker off at the electric panel.
  3. Once disconnected, wait one minute, and turn the power back on.

How do i address a recurrent suds display and subsequent extended rinse cycle on my washer? I have tried using less soap ans always use HE soap. Thx

Unhook the water hoses at the wall and check to make sure the screens are free of debris. The pump is easy to access via the back panel--just two screws. There are blogs available that tell you how to check and replace the pump if necessary. Read all of them before you start. It is often the culprit. Good luck.

This is a code that the water is not being heated. this could be caused by a bad heating element, lack of water, computer control problem or an inadvertant error. all things involved with heating the water need check. the computer has to be reset using a diagnotic mode. wiring info usually behind toe panel may help to solve the problem. please include model # if further info needed.

Sd code: Washer sounds like it is straining during the

This is a suds error. Too much detergent, wrong kind of detergent or a blocked drain pump filter.
Remove the bottom front panel. Unscrew the filter and clean it out. Run a couple cycles with no detergent to clean out the tub. Use only HE soap and the correct amount.
More soap causes problems and does not get the laundry any cleaner.

F35 & SuD error codes on Kenmore Elite Washer

F35 has to do with the pressure switch which is located under the top panel on the back right. It will have a little black hose hooked to it. This happens when SUDS or detergent somehow gets up into it and usually locks unit out. Only solution is to replace pressure switch. You can find the tech sheet behind the bottom front panel usually tape to the back side of that panel or taped to the bottom right side inside unit. Hope this helps

Does not go thru dry cycle, clean light blinks 7 times

Remove the front door panel and look for a broken wire.  Usually the broken wire is about 1/3 of the way up from the bottom of the door.  The wire tends to get stuck into the insulation causing the break.  Repair the wire connection and then cover the affected wire harness with a plastic cover to separate the harness from the black insulation.  If there is no broken wire, then the thermistor needs to be replaced.  That will require the entire unit removed to access from the bottom of the dishwasher.  Thermistor failures are very, very rare.

It is likely there are one or more faulty buttons on the control panel. The console will have to be replaced.
