My lense wont go back in after i turned my camara off

I was turning my casio EX-Z9 Camara off and the lense was still out and it wouldent go back in after i turned it off when i tried turning it on it wouldent turn on and it said lens error or retry turning camera on i dont no what to do i got my camera from walmart and i dont no if they can fix it wat can i do please answer me.

Casio EXILIM camera lens will not extend fully!!!

Try plugging the PC interface cord into the external connector. No need to hook it up to your computer, just plug it in and out a few times. Then try to power up the camera.

Lens error

This is the lens focus gears. They are either knocked out of alignment, or debris has jammed them. The good news is it can be fixed....Casio most likely won't help. Hint...google my user name.

Casio Exilim EX-S500 screen is black when turned on

you camera shutter is stuck at close position, you will need to open
the thing up to repair.

As for the totally dark screen, either your LCD or driver board is bad. You will need to open and replace the broken part.

A Dropped Camara. Please Read

That is what casio calls a lens error. You will have to send it in and have it fixed. The cameras don't do well even when dropped from that short distance. Call repairs at 800-706-2534 and keep choosing option 1. Tell them that you talked to tech support already otherwise they will try and transfer you to their tech support.

If you've replaced the batteries with fresh ones, it probably has a broken zoom assembly. It'll have to be replaced by a repair shop.

Does your battery work with regular AA alkaline batteries ? They have higher voltage than NiMH rechargeable. I'm having a similar problem, just discovered today that my camera works fine with AA alkaline batteries.
