When I was replacing the brushes I must have splashed some water on the control board, on starting the machine there was a fizzing noise and it all died. I have fitted another control board but still nothing works and no lights, however the door lock powers up. Is there another component that can fail to protect the board or could I have fried something else too? Model no WF02465GB
As the control board failed it could have let too much power reach any of the other components in the machine. Any electronic components could now be damaged. The new controller could now be damaged by power from the other parts. You could carefully replace them all one by one until it works, but this will be expensive. Buy a used machine of the same make and model (search Ebay) and swap all its electronics over in one go. Or replace the machine.

I had the same problem- machiine not spinning and a few days later not turning at all. Display would go from 11min to 1min.
I did 2 things - 1) changed the brushes on the motor- cost £7.50 .
2) whilst working under the machine disconnected pipe from drum to pump and emptied it- found 2 coins in the bellows.

I would suggest that you remove the motor, and check the brushes for wear.
If they are less than 3 or 4mm long, then they need to be replaced.
Hope this helps.

I had F63 on Bosch washing machine (Maxx 7).
I waited 5 days for a repairman and all he did was reset the washing machine processor, like this:
1. Turn the program knob to 6 o'clock
2. Hold the RPM button
3. While the RPM button is held, turn the program knob 1 click clockwise (to Rinse)
4. Release the RPM button.
This is similar to F21 which also happened to my machine.
Apparently both errors are related to power surge/power cut.
