I have a Razr V3M from Verizon and have suddenly encountered problems. I was using my phone last night to talk to a friend, went to bed, and woke up to a completely dead phone. I plugged it in, thinking it was because it needed charged, but that didn't help it. I attempted to turn it on, and they key pad lit up, but the phone itself didn't power up. What is the issue? How do I fix this? I'm now stuck without any type of phone!!
Sometimes pressing * # and the power button (holding it down for several seconds) gets it to come back to life. Also, do that in between periods of removing the battery and sim card. I still don't know what the right sequence is, but if you keep playing around with it, you can sometimes get the screen to come back.

try all the defaults the last four digits of the phone number last programmed to the phone then standards defaults for all phones are 9999,1234,4321,0000,1111 if none are successful you will have to hook the phone to a charging station which is at the verizon wireless store I do believe they still have the software if they dont they will need to replace the phone either by upgrade to a verizon phone (two year contract) or activating an old phone you own or bought online elsewhere or got from a friend etc. or insuarnce claim which is fifty bucks and they give you the same model i have to say of all the razors thats the good one so if you do go with insuarnace i wouldnt accept anything else they might throw at you as comparible its not
RAZR v3m is not compatible with T-Mobile, as it is a CDMA phone, used on services such as Verizon, Sprint, Cricket, etc. The v3m is not a GSM phone and does not have a SIM card, and therefore cannot be used on GSM services such as T-Mobile and AT&T (Cingular).
T-Mobile does have a RAZR v3, but it is not a v3m. The v3m is similar to the v3s, which is also a CDMA phone, but adds a micro SD card to store music and photos on.
That is a software issue. You need to either contact motorola or verizon regarding that issue. This is a known problem with their phone and they never fully resolved the first batch of the Razor freezing issue.
