Hello..Im using Win XP SP2 and HP Compaq Presario SR5015AP Pc. Currently one of my USB port (onboard) can't detect any devices (i try different devices, webcam, usb mouse, pendrive..still can't work. Pls help me...Thanks

Before i can suggest any steps i need to know since when u have this pblm and what are the softwares and hardwares you had installed recently,please revert back with details for more assistance......:)
Right click on my computer click on "manage" and select "device manager" and under the list of hardware list u shud see "universal serial bus" if u see that uninstall everything except "enchanced USB controller" after that uninstall "enchanced USB controller" and then click on scan for hardware changes (to do that click on the name of the comp at the top of the list and select scan for hardware changes just above that, if u have difficulty go to this link and check the image)

Goto control panel >Add hardware>click check button on yes i have already connected the hardware>then click next>and search for the USB Root Hub option and install its drivers

i'm facing this problem since 2 days ago. it happen after i repair my windows. During the installation of the window, it pop up some error saying that some file are missing..i can't remember what file..i skip the error, contimue installing..after finish, i try to plug a fe devices on that usb port but isn't working...hope this will clarify..pls help me.
