Question about EliteGroup ECS G900 Notebook

Problems with software

Hi, I have a little problem with sofware for my ECS G900 notebook. I not know from where i can reinstall complete os and other software like windvr, winrip and other things. Can somebody help me with thist? My HD was deleted, yes it was my foult, now i'am wery unhappy because special buttons now not working like music button, DVD button and TV button. Please help me. Thank you.

Thanx for very fast answer, but winrip and windvr is not on that site :( I not know from where i can reinstal all that software for the G900 notebook again, with drivers i have no problem, i have problem with utilities...

Same issue! The utility disk has the setup programs but I have no product keys. For the OS I have the product key but not disc.

Elite g900 wont see cd/dvd at boot

Probably your CD/DVD are not in first secuence in booot. So, if you log in your bios, in boot secuance change it and select CD/DVD as first choice of boot.

I have my ECS elite group W330, I bought it year 2006. My problem is, its wireless network connection cannot detect a signal even if i am already beside our router... does the age of my laptop matters to...

first click start in the computer then click run then type CMD then the dos modebox will be seen then type ipconfig then you will see ip adress of the network to which you are connected then type ping the ip address if the pinging is ok then your laptop is comunication with the router if no pininging or ip adress right click my computer then click properties then hardware then device manager and check wether the network adaptor is marked if marked reinstall the driver and restart the computer

First things first:
1) Uninstall the webroot sofware
2) restart your computer
3) depending on your OS, if win 7 , 8, 10
you have to system restore point from the day before you install webroot.
4) restore and restart, problem solve!

Remove hard drive from ecs g900 laptop

To access it it is on the bottom and you have to remove the screws
but you should BACK UP FIRST

Sound is not working on my hp laptop

did you RESTORE the OS or did you reformat and REINSTALL the OS? if you did a complete reformat and reinstall either 1) the software has changed Firmware settings and messed up the hardware or 2) The Reinstalling process has installed similarly unfunctional drivers or 3) there is an unrelated problem that is the real cause of the issue.

I'd try getting ahold of a whole set of drivers and trying each one. You might also want to look into BIOS updates for the HP, they might have fixed the issue already.
