Y-n1u-568-12 flat cable is broken - can I buy a new one

If it's completely black, then a ribbon or cable internally is disconnected or the panel is bad or the light source (LED or whatever) is burnt out and will need a new one. Chances are it's broken to where you should buy a new TV rather than repair

I just got done re-working a Samsung that had the same problem. You can either buy a set of RCA jack audio cables and cut them to a 6" length and remove the jack in the set and solder the cables on to the board, or you can buy a new board at about $150.00. You will have those two cable hanging out the side but its a heck of alot cheaper than buying a board. That is if your handy with a soldering iron and have patience.

If you love the tv that much then a broken coax plug is not going to stop you. simply use a standard rca cable to connect your cable box from the tv this works just as good. if you do not have a cable box a vcr would also work as your receiver

Yes don't buy one contact your cable company and tell them it's broken and thell ask you to bring it to them and thell replace it for free

Check cable connection between your TV and the signal receiver.
If all cable and ports OK, but the problem persist, it seems like your signal receiver has broken so you need to buy a new one. But before you buy, for make sure, try to auto search the channels first from TV's setting.
If after this your TV still don't get any connection, I'm afraid you really have to buy a new receiver.

Do you mean only the power cable that linked the power brick with laptop was broken? Of course if you are 100% sure that's the only part that fail, you may only buy a cable. Check this link blow:

But if you are not that sure, i'll suggest you buying a whole new charger:

You will have to have the broken inlet replaced.

That is a dificult task to find a new one, unless you have a broken one you want to take apart they are not a standard cable. Your best bet is to go to an electronics store and buy a new plug to solder onto what is left ofthe cable. To find the pinout, just use a digital multimeter and test the continuity of the pin to the color of wire on the other end. Then just find yourself a VGA extension cable.

Replying to the first post:
If you have broken the ribbon cable, which is highly likely if you have broken the hinge, then the DS will not work. It does not turn on unless there is a connection to both screens. You will need to buy a new ribbon cable for it:

I would recommend buying a new case for it at least because the ribbon cable will break if left broken due to the strain on it.

The more expensive but easier option is to buy a new one.

plz check the flat cables silver ends! It might be that the flat cable has a broken cable. Clean contact on main board and flatcable side with some electrical cleaning solution.

But i guess you have a broken cable.

AF only appears when scanner is not connected to machines circuit board. In case you wont find a broken cable, buy a second hand dcp 110c and use this scanner as a spare-part.
