I have a lg-as740smart phone and its flashed to cricket the phone is locked and i cant make any calls because i dont know the gmail adress or password how can i reset this phone

open up your phone and type it EXACTLY like shown. it should look like you are attempting to make a call.

BEWARE!!!!!!!!

this WILL delete everything on it and revert it to factory settings, so i recommend that you save everything off it, and upload ALL your contacts to your SIM. to do that:

1. open up the address book

2. options

3. OPTION 13: COPY TO SIM _OR_ OPTION 14: MOVE TO SIM

when that is done, punch in the code.

you should get some text saying not to do anything and that it will reset when its done [note the improper grammar, haha :)]

thats it!

remember that it WILL DELETE EVERYTHING off of your phone, so i HIGHLY recommend that you back everything up onto a memory card.

i figured it out you can reset it but it will erase everything off your phone you have to do a master reset so if you have contacts you want to keep you need to copy them to your sim card when done copying it go to main screen when you first open your phone and type in just like you are making a call *2767*3855#
