according to the maker there is no C555t
a c55t-1234 (note the vast submodels not stated by you....1233 is m fact sub number what is yours?

It can't be disassembled. It is a built as one unit.

Google "disassemble Toshibe c55-b5290 and make sure you have the restore disks! They can probably be purchased from Toshiba online if not.

If it has Windows 7 on it there should be an option to dim the screen. Go to the Start menu and click Control Panel.

Click on the Power Settings icon. It should be in there on the left.

none the laptop will return to the state it arrived in when new.It will require windows to be updated though.

Replace it it's factory bug in your screen

Is it windows 7 or 8? Internet Explorer modern (tablet mode), or desktop mode (the one that opens while on your desktop)? Internet Explorer 10 or 11? Ia the text very large or small? Does it only happen in Internet Explorer, or does text appear blurry in other apps? Are those apps desktop mode or tablet mode apps?
