Question about Nintendo DS Console

1 Answer

Animal Crossing will not save.

My daughter has just purchased Animal Crossing. She can play the game fine, but when it comes to saving, it will not save. When she tries to save, it tells her to take the game cartidge out and try again, but she has tried this a number of times and it still won't save.I have wiped over the terminals of the game, and tried to blow any dust out of the slot, but other than this don't really know what to try. Could this be a problem with the game itself or the unit. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I have the same problem. When I press start button to save, it says 'what? For some reason you can't save'. Does anyone know why this is?

I have repaired many of these units for people and from what I am hearing it actually sounds like a game problem. Have you tried other games in it just to see if they will save if they will I would swap out the game.

My animal crossing game just frose and i dont know why so could you help me please? I am worried that i will lose all my data.

there might have been a peice of something in the cartrige port, but im not really sure either. If you saved recently, then i think the memory you saved should be fine. if you are using an action replay, then i dont think your memory is safe. Hope i helped~

When i play the game (animal crossing: Let's go to the city) on a different Wii i have to start from the very begining. Why will it not pick up from where i left?

This is because your save data doesn't go onto the game disc itself. Instead the wii is designed to save directly it's built in console hard drive or possibly a memorey card.
you can however transfer your saves to an sd card via your consoles memory managment options (this way you could bring your save data to your friends house and use it on their wii)
this link will help explain: http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/wii/en_na/data.jsp#SDcopy
hope it helps
~good luck!

I can't save progress in Animal crossing! >< plz

Sorry, that's not true. You can save anywhere in the game by hitting the start button, whether or not you're in your house. To me, it sounds like your game file is corrupted. Your only option at this point is to start over again. If it doesn't work after that, you should buy a new game.

My animal crossing: Wild world wont load.

You need the master code.
Get the Master code for your version, and then put it on (dont activate it tho).

My Action Replay doesn't work with ACWW

People had gone to extreme measures to fix this problem, when the answer is right in front of them! :P

Yes, Animal Crossing Wild World v.1.52 does NOT work on Action Replay. However, v.1.1 does. Notice that there are two versions of Animal Crossing. If Animal Crossing (the default one) goes to a black screen, and doesn't load anymore, delete that file, and use the other one where it says v.1.1. The codes does not work, but click "START" anyways. Notice how there aren't anymore black screens. Turn it off, and don't load your game. That's where the easy part comes in. Just replace the old codes, and use the v. 1.52 codes (that you can find at Codejunkies.com). It'll work perfectly fine.

I know it was frustrating for you, because it was for me too. But fortunately, I found the solution, and I'm happy to share this with everyone. Have fun!

Which by the way, I forgot to mention that since the default Animal Crossing WW file has been deleted, and the game ID is different than v.1.1., you must click the star on the bottom left corner, and click on Animal Crossing V.1.1. yourself. It won't load automatically like it did before, but it's no troublesome, I SWEAR!

Dsi cant exits ds lites town without blue screen

Try updating your software in your dsi? Keep in mind that AC was intended for ds not dsi so there is some bugs. Just like how AR(action ready codes) wont work for dsi, it just wasn't made for dsi.

solution? buy a ds? gamestop sell used ds for 70ish dollars or so.

Animal Crossing WW for DS.Can't save game

I can't understand this. Nothing like this has ever happened to me and I have had Animals Crossing - Wild World for a while.
I think maybe you should try to take the game back and get another cartrige.
I can't give much help, but I have tried..
Thanks(:

You mean Resetti?

heres the FAQ/Walkthrough
http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/ds/file/920786/44897

heres what it says about Resetti

Resetti is a fearsome mole with a fiery temper. He appears only under special
circumstances: when you power off your game without saving. There is no way
to avoid the unpleasant encounter with Resetti to come; he'll burrow through
pavement and patterns alike. He will meet you outside of your house the next
time you boot up the game after resetting. However, he will usually not appear
if there was an ¯ during while playing DS to DS or over Nintendo Wi-Fi
Connection.

The gruff mole apparently works for the "Reset Intervention Bureau", which is
some sort of organization against resetting. Since the original Animal
Crossing, Resetti has appeared after you failed to save properly. The game is
meant to be saved before you quit playing, otherwise your progress will be
lost; it was also meant to be played without time travel, although slight
allowances of a few hours were made.

The first few times you reset, Resetti will come to have a chat with you. Upon
the fourth time you reset, he will force you to type up some sort of apology on
the keyboard. These are often insults against yourself which Resetti enjoys
hearing for his own enjoyment. There are 16 different apologies that you may
be forced to type with perfect capitalization and punctuation (God forbid!).
The apology will be taken from the following list.

1. Forgive me.
2. Hail Resetti!
3. I love to save.
4. I need help!
5. I'm a cheater.
6. I'm dirt. DIRT! (One space after the period)
7. I'm a loser.
8. I'm so dumb!
9. I'm so sorry.
10. It's my fault.
11. My apologies.
12. Never again!
13. No cheating!
14. Resetti rules!
15. Save! SAVE! (One space after the first exclamation mark)
16. So sorry!

After you have correctly typed your apology, Resetti will ask you if you were
really sincere when you made it. Move the cursor to "Really sorry!" to please
him. Note that in the original Animal Crossing, there was a point in one of
the Resetti dialogues when the screen went black for a few seconds. Many
players thought that Resetti was corrupting their save data or even ruining
their games as a consequence for resetting, when in reality it was just a scare
tactic that did no harm to your game. Fortunately, the angry mole will refrain
from the same tactics in Wild World.

You may also see Resetti at the Roost. He may appear from 2:30pm to 4:00pm on
a Sunday. Also, it has been reported that you may also receive a note in a
bottle from the "Alliance Against Resetting". Does Resetti's influence really
extend so far that he's taken control over Tag Mode? Only the game developers
and skilled hackers may know....

Note that after you receive a visit from Resetti, you must enter and exit a
building in order for special visitors to appear in your town regularly again.
