Question about Entempo Rubato (20 GB) MP3 Player

THE DAY I BOUGHT MY RUBATO MP3, I ACCEDENTLY DROPPED IT ON THE FLOOR OF MY HOME. AFTER THAT I WENT TO LISTEN TO IT AND THE SONGS DID NOT PLAY CLEAR, I COULD HEAR IT BUT THE SONG KEPT GOING IN AND OUT WITH THE PERSON SINGING AND THE MUSIC ITSELF. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO. I BOUT IT AT A SEARS STORE THATS CLOSING DOWN AND IT WAS THE LAST ONE.

There is a CERTAIN level of ROBUSTNESS that is
presumed to be built into these user devices...

Added to the REPUTATION ... SEARS holds for itself...

(SEARS: leaving a town near you... soon)... and USED to DESERVE...

But only because as a youngster... I respected their appliances and tools... (after several NASTY incidents... I say ASK THEM...

(After-all it was not a carton of EGGS or Christmas tree ornaments... SERIOUSLY (some credit cards have Buyer PROTECTION... Call on them... as well).

I could not afford Snap-On & CRAFTSMAN was a great second choice... (that was WAY back when SEARS had integrity, honor...
even QUALITY)...

They,,, (SEARS) are the classic example of modern AMERICAN "MANAGEMENT"... personal profit oriented... arrogant...
lacking in HONOR & INTEGRITY...So were I you I would contact them quickly... more stores closing... in cities near you.

In my opinion... (& with a certain sadness in my heart
(there are still a couple of good people there)).

Demand satisfaction... while the INK is still wet on your receipt
((If they can AFFORD their incompetent EXECUTIVES... They can certainly afford to satisfy a customer ( every once in a LONG while (been saving a lot of that $$$$)) ...

1) The software on the the MP3 Player has a corrupt instruction. 2) The Storage flash is corrupt. solution: 1) Firmware update. 2) Replace the mp3 player as the storage flash is corrupt.

That means as the manual says " Boot Failure "... Now the home website "which isn't working anymore" suggests that you contact support. They would recommend you a firmware update, me to will do same. To get Itunes bought songs to play on your mp3 player are in ACC.You may need to change it into whatever format your player calls for. they may have to be converted to a different format before they will work in your Mp3 player. Check your user manual for this information.

I bought an sansa about a month ago and i dont know how to put videos on it how do i go by doing that

your sansa m259 mp3 player does not support playing video songs(.wmv).You can listen to the following supported audio files only (.wma or .mp3) in your player. If you want to listen to video songs, try finding the software which converts video files to audio files, convert them and you can listen. Google it up to find numerous software.Hope you are clear now.Please rate my solution as helpful.

My sansa clip won't play the songs I loaded on!

I've had this happen a couple of times in the last 6 months. You can get it to play again by chosing the format option from the settings menu. Of course, then you've lost everything you had loaded on to it. Download your music/audio books again and they will play.

Volume dropped after "go back"

I noticed the same thing with mine and I seem to have fixed that problem (accidentally). I decided I wanted to clean the unit up, so I did the following:

First I RESET the unit using a pin in the little hole on the back (marked RESET).
Next I chose the FORMAT option in the SETTINGS menu and cleared the memory (ALL songs and settings).

After reloading my music, I noticed the volume drop NO LONGER OCCURS. The unit also seems to POWER UP a little quicker too, but I can't say for certain.

I'm hoping my little RESET/FORMAT will fix a few other little quirks in the unit (like SHUFFLE playing the same track over and over out of 400+ songs!)

It sounds like the MP3 player you got is defective. Its warranty should still be in effect, so I would recommend exchanging it for a replacement.

My mp3 won't load or play songs

Try calling the costomer survice line. Then catalog all of the things you were doing while you were listening to the mp3. Did you drop it in water? Was it out in extream cold or heat?? Has it been on for more than 5 hours at a time. Sometimes your system will over heat if you have it on to long. I hope I helped, im not an expert, but still I own one of these, so i have some experience

Teac v-377 cassette deck,won't turn,as if auto stop in working full time hi,when starting the tape,works for a split second,then stops,fwd won't go and rewind turns for 30 seconds then stops,checked all 3 belts which all ok? any idea,seems to 'click' like when the auto stop works,as if its jammed,clicks every second,even with cassette taken out.

Why does my speakers sound scratchy? I've done everything that I know to do and that I was told to do by CS with Philips and both speakers still sound very scratchy.I looked at the speakers and they both look fine. I didn't see any damage whatsoever. Someone please advise ASAP. Thank you.
