Yes, you can change the bandwidth of your router if you are facing the interference problem. You can change the bandwidth and check whether both are still in the interference or not; continue to change BW, till its not in interference.

Welcome to Fixya. Make sure that you are using a computer that is connected to the router using ethernet cable. If still fails you can reset the router by pressing the reset button at the back of the router for 5-10 seconds using a pen or paper clip and make sure that the router is on.

I suspect that you have port forwarding rule (virtual server) on port 443 (https) on your router. Try to remove rule or just reset router to factory settings. I have the same router and this problem did not happen. You can also install Router Commander program to boost up router performance.

try being more specific. when you test it at whcih stage does it not connect. you may not have a wireless connection/ the wireless may be too far away from your modem so ti cant connect - you may need to open some ports for your router, in which case youtube it

is there any computer connected to the router ?
If yes then you can open the router set up page on that computer.
Router set up page is the page where you can check all the wireless settings of the router.

Remove power from the router. Press and hold the reset button while plugging it back in. After about 30-45 seconds, release the reset button. Now you should be able to log into the router's default IP address with the default admin password. This procedure WILL erase all of the configuration settings on the router. well the first thing i'd ask are you using a wireless router and second is your wireless router broadcasting, because if its not then you cant see it find the web Address to gain access to you router ( google it ) heres an example Netopia router uses 192.168.1.254 as a default when home page opens check that wireless is broadcasting as it may be off by default. hope this helps

Take a note of the IP Address Of the Xbox

Connect Router - Computer ( Wired )

Open RSP By typing 192.168.2.1 on the Address Bar of internet Explorer

On the Left Side Click Firewall

Leave the Password blank and click Submit

Disabled it and click Apply Changes

On the Left side Click DMZ

Enable it and Give the IP Address of the XboX in it

Click Apply Changes

Restart the Router

And test the Connection
