You may need to check the settings of your mac book that permits you to output the signal to an external display. Also you may need to purchase a display port adapter (VGA, HDMI or DVI) that is compatible with the input connector on the projector

My mac book and epson projector doesn't show the signal

To my knowledge there are no video drivers to output video on a Mac USB port in the Mac OS system. There are however, devices that connect to the USB port that will give video out on Conventional (VGA, DVI, HDMI, etc) connectors.e.g. http://www.newertech.com/products/viddu2dvia.phpMost projectors connect via VGA - what Projector are you using?

I am trying to connect a MacBook AIR to a Dell 3400 MP and all I get is searching for signal... I have the USB cable connected..

Dell projectors work best with windows operating system. Replacing the projector would still not resolve the problem since it is not compatible with Macintosh computers. I recommend that you contact Macintosh and ask if there is an available patch to resolve the issue.

Dell 3400mp not getting signal from Macbook

If you were using the Apple S-video adapter to connect to your Dell projector, please realize that MacBook models with NVIDIA graphics cards do not support this adapter. Otherwise, please be more specific about what model Mac you have and what adapter cable you are using.

Macbook recognizes dell projector, but not vice versa

Hello,
Your Macbook should automaticaly find the best resolution, if everything was OK. Is there any HDMI input on the dell projector? What projector is it? Is there is an HDMI input, you can use a HDMI to mini DVI cable: better picture and sound than VGA, and will probably solve your problem

Yamaha reciever doesnt recognise hdmi from Mac laptop

Max does recognize receiver over HDMI-CEC.
The problem is that DVI output is for video only. Macbook won't (and can't) output audio via DVI. So yamaha receives only video signal via the HDMI connector. You can check that by pressing Option button on yamaha remote and choosing Signal Info - you will see info about video, but no audio signal present.

Mac driver need for dell projector

You shouldn't need a driver as long as the Mac video system resolution can be matched by the Dell projector. Considering you are using a Mac Pro I don't think this will be an issue. Have you tried it and it didn't work?
