    Same thing happened to me this morning. Won't power up. Clicks on, then clicks off. Know it can;t be something big, hoping someone that's worked on this before knows the fix vs trying to debug. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Good Day, you'll;

Try the following:

NO POWER. NO RELAY CLICK 1. CHECK FOR 5 VDC AT PIN 9 OF IC700 (AC-OFF) IF MISSING CHECK PC901 PART # 268P058020, ON THE POWER PCB. NO POWER. RELAY CLICKS 1. CHECK Q501 (261P071010), Q502 (260P561020) AND Q503 (260P788010). IF ANY OF THESE TRANSISTORS ARE SHORTED OR LEAKY REPLACE IT INSURE THE FOLLOWING CIRCUIT CHANGE HAS BEEN DONE. REMOVE J58 FROM THE PCB-MAIN. USING AN INSULATED JUMPER WIRE, SOLDER A 22 OHM 1/4W RESISTOR BETWEEN PIN 4 OF THE RELAY K9A30 AND THE J58 HOLE NEXT TO PIN 1 OF CONNECTOR DQ. DRESS AND INSULATE THE JUMPER AND RESISTOR TO PROTECT AGAINST SHORT CIRCUITS. INSTALL A .01 UF 50V CERAMIC CAPACITOR BETWEEN THE COLLECTOR OF Q510 AND THE GROUND LEAD OF R502. CHECK CONNECTOR "DR" FOR PROPER CONNECTION, BETWEEN THE DEFL MINI PCB AND THE MAIN PCB. 2. CHECK C5A09 AND C5A50 BOTH 33 UFD 50 V OFF OF IC5A01 ON PCB-DEFL MINI. 3. CHECK FOR LEAKY IC5A03 PART # 270P704010 ON PCB-DEFL MINI 4. SUSPECT THE HIGH VOLTAGE BLOCK PART # 920P016010.

Good Luck, big IRISH.

I am attempting to connect a Verizon Fios QIP6200-2 HD set top box to my Mitsubishi WT-46805 HD TV using the Y, Pr and Pb RCA connections (no HDMI port on TV) I cannot get any HD channels to work.

The set will have two component inputs, one is NOT HD.

You want to connect to the DTV input which if you look from the back will be marked 480/1080 I .

Also double check the connections to be sure blue-red-red and green to green.

Half Dead mitsubishi wt-46805

This condition can be caused by multiple failures, however this unit has chronic bad yoke connections. Difficult repair for a layman but not for a tech or shop. Most likely 200 to 250 for that repair. Other more serious failures sure to cost more.

Mitsubishi WT 46805 ~ Picture gone..... :0(

Good Day, Corri;

It sounds like the TV has a Circuit problem in the convergence circuit. If it comes and goes then the concern can be corrected by re-soldering the 'conv' output IC"s. A semi-minor repair and cost.

Good Luck, big IRISH.
