Image zone plus

Have image zone plus on windows xp.  downloads from camera card are not working.  (was working fine)  Image zone makes monthly folder, but no photos appear in folder after download is supposedly complete.  Also when I try to "View All" in Image zone plus, a message pops up:  "The program has encountered an unexpected error.  Object reference not set to an instance of an object."  What does this mean?

Thanks for response, but that's not the problem. Image zone plus was working, isn't now. Same camera etc before and after problem occurred. Applied new Mcafee updates and also automatic Windows updates. Could these be causing problem? We downloaded pictures from card to "MY PICTURES" folder. Image zone plus doesn't see the new folder.

Can you download 1 photo from your camera without downloading the whole card?

I'm glad to inform you that you can download selected image from the CAmera/Memory Card. Please open the drive which represents the Camera/Memory Card under My Computer. Then open the folders and check the required image. Copy and Paste the image to desktop or where ever you want in your computer. Please let me know if you require further assistance.

Thanks for understanding.

My mac wont recognize my Fuji Film camera.

Looks like you may need to use a specific application to see the photos on the camera.
Try using Image Capture and iPhoto (for me it worked in Image Capture after changing the iPhoto preferences to always open Image Capture when camera connected - go figure).

Saving images from S5 Pro directly to laptop hard drive -how?

Hello Brian,

Are you writing to the camera memory because your card is full?

I'm not sure what USB auto/fixed is meant to do but try this.

Connect you camera to the pc as normal and switch the camer on.

The camera may ask you if you want USB or pictbridge, choose USB.

XP Then tries to offer you the best way to get at the photos. Rather than use the transfer option us the open as a folder option.

If XP doesn't offer anything click and open my computer, look for your camera it will appear as a new hard drive.

Click on the new hard drive, normally with olympus you get a folder, the first is you camera memory, click on that you should see photo's and another folder.

Copy or cut and past the photo's to a new folder on your PC. The click on the last folder, should be you memory card, move those photo's as before.

Having copied all photos you can delete them from you camera memory and card using the PC. Just as you'd delete any file.

With luck you should be back in action, a whole card to fill................. Good Luck.

I have no driver for it

I have never used a driver or the camera software to download photos or video. Just connect the usb to the camera and PC and then switch the camera on. Go to My Computer and it will show up as a removable drive. Double click on it and the folders on the memory card will open in a new window. Double click on the folder holding the images. Then if you are using XP, right click on an image file and in the dropdown highlight "Open with" and from the list click on Paint with the cursor. Your image will appear in paint.

When trying to download pics from my memory card my program HP Image Zone Plus keeps telling me that there is no memory card in the device. Why is it not acknowledging my memory card and how can I change...

Are you using your camera and a usb cord or a separate card reader? I use a card reader and it works every time. I download to a folder I create on the desktop...once there, any program can use the pics.

Pictures on my digital camera.Cant transfer them to the computer

I'm not sure you need any software to actually view camera pictures on xp, though there are many programs made for managing and embellishing pictures once you get them loaded into your computer's memory. Please go to this link for a general exposition of xp digital camera use.
Then connect your camera to your computer, and follow these instructions to download the photos into a file somewhere. (Maybe you want to create a folder in your My Pictures folder entitled Canon photos or something like that, just to keep them straight.) If you don't get an option to open the camera wizard, you can start it manually by going
to control panel>scanners and cameras>add a camera and the wizard should find your camera plugged in and start the download process...you can browse to the folder you created to have it store your photos there, or use the default. Once they're downloaded, you can access your photos using windows explorer.
But there are also a couple of great image viewer available as freeware: I can recommend both FastStone Image Viewer available here and Irfan View (available here)
Have fun, and don't worry about that red eye!

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

File Contains No Image!

Does the camera have internal memory? The folder name might not match the folder you or the camera are looking for. REmove mem card and see if the pics are still on the camera, if so, then try again without the card in. try and see the card in "mass media storage" mode on your PC. Reformat the card in the camera after you get the pics off to reset the folder name.

Corrupted Pictures?

i suggest you always format the card in your camera every time you release it and use in your pc. card may get infected with virus and may affect the performance. never format card in pc! Better save pictures in hdd or cd than in mem cards.

How do I the delete images so I can re-use the memory card?

To delete photos from the SmartMedia memory card in your camera, you must first download them to your computer. Follow this procedure to transfer your photos from the camera to your computer: 1. Make sure that your PDC 640 is connected to your computer and both are turned on. The "PC" icon should appear on the status panel on the top of the camera. 2. Open the PhotoMAX application on your PC. 3. Click Get Photo. Note: If you are using PhotoMAX Pro to transfer pictures, you need to select PDC 640 Camera from the Select Source dialog box (select File > Acquire > Select Source), and then select File > Acquire. 4. Click Album or flashPath. 5. Select the album in which you want to save your images, or click New Album to create a new album. 6. Click Camera or Scanner. 7. Select PDC 640 from the Sources list on the Select Source window, and then click Select. The PDC 640 Twain Driver window opens. 8. Click Get All to transfer all the images in the camera memory to your computer, or select the images you want to transfer to your computer and click Get Selected. The images are transferred to the selected album, which is located in the PhotoMAX Albums folder. The PDC 640 Twain Driver window closes. 9. To edit a picture, double-click the image in the album that you want. The image appears in the image tray.
