1. check to see if you have removed the protective tape that covers the contacts. 2. check to see if you have inadvertently put the cartridges in the wrong sockets.
Hi, I had the same problem and found the answer from one website. Heres how you can fix it 1) Open the cover 2) Remove the empty cartridge 3) Close the cover without putting in the new cartridge 4) Open the cover and install the new cartridge 5) Close the cover and restart the printer (press power save to shut down and press it again to turn it on
It should go into cleaning and when you check the Ink Status monitor, it will detect that the ink is full.:) Hope this helps, it worked for me
Have carts inserted and run the cleaning cycle twice. Do a test print. If you cant see anything the ph has dryed out. This cant be fixed anymore. A new ph will cost more than a new mfc. Sell it at eBay.
I have the same problem my printer (a MFC-215C) is unable to clean and when I press Menu/set I do not have "Black print"?
So what do I do now??????
