My haier HWD 1000 washer dryer is leaking water from the bottom during the drying cycles. Ive checked the button trap and that is in nice and tight- what else could cause this problem?

I recently cleaned the lint out of the button trap and replaced it, since then it has been leaking water. I have made sure the trap was tight before starting the washer/dryer again, even had someone else check it to make sure too but it is still leaking, but as far as i can tell it is only when it is in the drying phase. what could this be?

SOURCE: haier washer won't start

1. does machine light up on control board? no. check breaker box or try plugging a lamp into the same outlet to see if it works. for this problem you may need a repair man to look at it.

SOURCE: My Haier HWD 1000

Had a leakage and motor problem up until an hour ago.

Repairman advised me not to twist the screw in, but to first push in the screw as you would a regular plug. Once all the way in, turn it shut like a screw. I tried it and it worked! ...I'm still getting a washing machine pan.

SOURCE: clothes not heating up and remain wet

The HWD1600 dries by pulling air from the bottom of the drum through the condenser then heating it then discharging back into the drum at near the top of the door seal. Its my experience this circut gets plugged with lint. When it is plugged the hot air flow is reduced and the condenser water is delayed and out of time with the pump. The condenser water then builds up and get the clothes wet and so they never dry. Remove the hose at the bottom of the condenser and clean the lint from the condenser. You may need to do this more than once as lint tend to settle here and do its plugging.

Haier xqg65-11su Keeps filling with water

I don\'t know this particular model but on many machines there is a diaphragm switch operated by a tube.As the water level rises in the machine the water also rises in the tube and the resulting pressure in the trapped air pushes on the diaphragm. If yours is like this look for a clear plastic tube running from the front or rear of the outer drum to a circular switch about 10cm diameter towards the top of the machine. If the pipe is blocked with soap powder or scum or the pipe has rubbed allowing the trapped air to escape the machine will continue to fill.If this is not the case by removing the pipe at the bottom and blowing into it you should hear the diaphragm click on and off as you release the pressure. Also check if the point where the pipe comes out of the drum is clear by pushing a piece of wire through the outlet.Don\'t forget the usual safety measures and unplug the machine before you start.

Kenmore Washer only leaking from one area

Ive never worked on a Kenmore but it may just be the overflow outlet. All washing machines have an overflow which will dump water out from the top of the tub if it overfills but sometimes on high fill water level, clothes can splash around and cause a "wave" of water to splash out over the overflow outlet. Check to see if the leak only occurs when you have selected high level fill.

My Haier HWD 1000 is brand new. First time use and water is pouring out of bottom as it tries to fill the drum. Please send help!!!!

There is a button and debris trap on the front bottom right of machine.

Little door says push. Open it and undo the large screw plug.

Remove debis if any. Screw the plug closed until it is very tight.

Check for leaks on next wash cycle.

(Also check intake hose connections at back of machine.)

Pump clogged

Hi, welcome to fixya.

If your washer is indeed a WFL2060, this is how to reach the filter and clean it.

**Unplug the washer from the dryer or wall, or turn off the 30amp breaker at the home service panel...safety first**

1) Open the small square plastic door at the right bottom of the washer.

2) Via the small hose drain any access water from the pump...this is where a wet/dry shop-vac comes in handy, or a shallow pan with a few towels works as well.

3) Then turn the pump insert/button trap counter clock-wise and pull out. Clean the trap out thoroughly running it under hot water and mild soap or your washer detergent and inspect inside the pump for any other foreign objects/obstructions.

4) Re-install the lint trap insuring it is good and snug/tight. Before closing up the small access door, run a short rinse spin cycle to check for leaks.

Let me know how you make out, or if you require further assistance.

Good luck.

Water building up during the dry cycle and clothes getting wetter

1) Make sure wash cycle is 100% finished (sometimes dryer will start before - usu on synthetic cycle & allows water to continue flowing in)

2) Manually start the dry cycle after you ensure wash cycle is finished and push in the wash cycle button.

Hope that helps! If not, you may need a new control module (I did - hope you don't!)

Check the button trap. Little door at front bottom right corner. There is a big screw in plug that has to be closed very tightly. Also check the plug gasket is clean.

Clothes not heating up and remain wet

ok like i said before haiers can be tricky. if you where to remove the lid 2 screws in back pull forward and remove lid. you will see a silver peice i believe you will also see the fan. That metal peice should have 2 wires on it. that is your heating element. I am going by memory so dont quote me. but if you check with no power to the unit///unplug...check the 2 wires at that silver metal peice you should have continuity there. if not your element is bad. i belive it is located to the right of the unit directly under the lid. there is also a thermistate there as well I know those thermistates are not very good. and the last time i had a haier not drying was the thermistate.I think there might be 2 orange wires going to it. I hope this helps..

My HWD1000 Haier Washer/Dryer combo error EC4

EC4 is regarding: The temperature of air vent.

Within 30 minutes of dry cycle there is 5 minutes in which the temperature is not increasing.

The dryer heater is not working properly. Call a repair technician.

Alternatively, create a custom wash cycle with no dry cycle and hang dry the laundry if you are past warranty and do not want to pay to repair it.
