Question about Heating & Cooling
At home I've an old model of Samsung of 19000 btu, it's of windows.
A few months ago it was broken, but the technician brought a new compressor and installed it. The air worked very good about four months until the last two weeks.
Until now, after switching the equipment on, the compressor cools about 15 minutes without to reach a nice temperature inside the room, after that, the equipment turns the compressor off and doesn't work again for a long time in the night, always for 10-15 minutes if works.
I've realized that, after raining, the compressor works for a long period of time. Therefore, before switching the equipment on, I wet the rear condenser with abundant water and it provides the same effect of rain.
None of the condensers should be dirty because they were cleaned with pressure water, also the front condenser was cleaned with a pink chemical that left it like a new one.
My question is, what's going on with the air if the compressor and the gas is new on it?
If you need more details, please ask...
Thanks is advance...
This unit could very well be over charged with gas and when the unit runs for about 15 mins. the pressure gets too high and cuts off on high pressure if your system does that so many times the compressor will get hot and shut off on internal over load, And will not come back on till it cools down. .... Or you may have a kink or restriction in your refrigerant lines somewhere... this would cause your compressor to also run hot and cut off on internal overload.
