The LL error code indicates "Large Load Detected". If the load is not too large and you have taken some items out and it still comes up displaying the error code "LL" it may be caused from a friction issue. It could be the spinner support with bearing causing the code if it's creating enough friction. You did not indicate if it has any problems with draining water. If the washer is not able to drain completely it could also cause the "LL" error code.

It shows the letters LL

LL = Lareg Load Detected.

I think you may have some drive system resistance/binding. This can be difficult error code to troubleshoot with knowing more info.

What was in the wash basket that caused the LL error code?

Have you tried to power cycle the washer (remove 120VAC line Cord then plug back in)?

Any unballance error codes like dc or UC in the past.

Randomly flashes F1 during various stages of washing & machine stops working

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error code F1 indicates primary control failure and to resolve this you’ll have to replace the machine control assembly. Yes you are right, this error should be fixed by whirlpool as its a common issue with whirlpool Cabrio washers, you can call 1-800-253-1301 whirlpool will send a tech. to fix it and pay for the part. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Code LL flashing. Will not complete a cycle.

The LL error code is not documented very well.

Can you tell me what point of the Wash Cycle the Cycle Status LED is in when you error out with the LL error code?

I believe it will be in the Spin Cycle of the wash cycle.

You could try a Quick Spin test and see if the wash basket will spin up to 850 RPM with no laundry in the Wash Basket. See Page 14 of the Service Manual and see if the Wash Basket will spin up to 850 RPM.

You could also check the TDS for proper range of motion using the SM or this typed out process.
Tub Displacement Sensor Diagnostics check.
It is possible the Tub Displacement Sensor may have failed try this check which is in the Troubleshooting guide stored in your washer console or refer to the SM.

a. Enter the Service Mode by pressing and holding the Enviro Plus and Spin Only keys for three seconds or the display reads “00”

b. Press the Super Wash key display reads “in”…something like that.

c. Press Delicates the Display will show “UC” (Unbalance Closed).

d. Push tub to the back right corner of the machine the display should change to “UO” (Unbalance open). Release tub and the display will show “UC” (Unbalance Closed).

e. Press Hand Wash.

f. Pull tub to the front left corner while pushing the tub down the display should change to “UO” (Unbalance open). Release tub and the display will show “UC” (Unbalance Closed).

If you fail this test it would be time to remove the machine front cover check if the TDS sensor has fallen of its mounting position between the Tub and the washer frame.

Maytag Neptune FAV6800AW Code LL Machine displays code LL and will not complete the spin cycle when there is something in the basket. Will complete if empty. Thinking the issue is the tub displacement...

Hey HopelessR,

The LL error code For the FAV6800AW is one of those errors that I feel is not documented very well. The only explanations I see is Large Load detected, “” The washer cannot spin because the load is to large”” OK what the heck is the trigger input to the Control Board to issue this error code to the Console Display????

I believe it’s Motor RPM not reached. I would try the Quick Spin Test on page 14 of the Service Manual and see if your machine will spin up to 850 RPM with an empty wash basket. Do you run up to 850 RPM “85.”?

I then reran the test with two large bath towels that were soaked, had to lay them in the wash basket to balance as best I could. I wanted to rerun the test with some load. The wash basket spun up thru all ranges to 850 RPM and completed with 3 beeps. Just wondering what RPM range you can complete too.

I have to additional commenst, this board has message limits for guys like me.

LL what does that mean on FAV6800AWW

LL = Large Load detected. Unless you really overloaded the machine I believe there may be other issues lurking. How large was the wash load that caused this error code to the display?

I'm an owner like you with some basic knowledge and hands on experience. LL code is large load detected. I believe this alarm is triggered by increased motor load/torque.

This error code is not documented very well in the FAV6800AW/FAV9800AW Service Manual. If you haven’t overloaded the machine then there are other issues. Pull the SM from that link above. It has the all important Service manual and Use and Care Guide combined.

I think this may be an issue related to the Clutch or possible increased rotational resistance of the Spinner assembly and or the Transmission/Tumblers. I vote right now for a Clutch issue. If you have basic mechanical skills take a look at this post. I would drop the clutch out of the machine and inspect and clean up and re-lube the One-way Roller clutch bearings and see if this helps.

I would go into Service Mode and step thru and document Diag codes form page 17 of the SM and see if you find any recorded error conditions. I would be curious to see if error code block 16 indicates a fail condition. I'm thinking of a possible high motor torque condition detected that may have triggered the LL code just a WAG at this time.

I would write down all error codes then clear all error codes and start collecting from your next wash cycle but I’m going to assume the LL code happened during a spin cycle do you know what part of the wash cycle the LL code triggered?

Haier 1260k error message no 7

Hi

Err 7 is a motor error. You can reset the error by first unplugging the washer and then try and follow the given procedure to resolve error 7 --
  • Disconnect the machine from power supply and stop the water supply as well.
  • Access the back of the machine by pulling it under the counter.
  • Now you’ll be able to see Phillips screws at the back panel, remove them to access the small back plate.
  • Now from that opening you’ll be able to see motor and motor connector. Plug the connector back on to the motor if it is unplugged or loose. There is only way to fix it so you will not get wrong.
  • Now reconnect the machine with the water supply and plug it into the power supply.
  • Select only the quick wash cycle to test the machine.
After this if the error is not resolved then its an issue with the motor, and yu'll need to get it checked from a service tech.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Maytag neptune tl displays LL and stops during the rinse cycle

Sorry chukenne,
Having not experienced this issue on my FAV6800AWW I missed this error code in the manual is that your machine type? Error code “LL” is documented in the troubleshooting part of the SM as Large Load detected. Does this happen with all wash load sizes? I would go into Service Mode and step thru and document Diag codes form page 17 of the SM and see if you find any recorded error conditions. I would be curious to see if error code block 16 indicates a fail condition. I'm thinking of a possible high motor torque condition detected that may have triggered the LL code just a WAG at this time. You may want to clear all error codes and start collecting from your next wash cycle but I would make a list of all codes before you clear them for reference of fail events of past wash cycles. I’m going to assume the LL code happened during a spin cycle. What caused you to drop the clutch out and re-lube/ Were you taking dc/UC errors in spin cycle? Rich
