Per Target, I called ALCO Electronics at 1-800-252-6123. After a 25 minute wait, they answered the phone.
I told them my problem with the picture, vertical color lines with a solid background, and they said that for a $45 flat fee, they could repair my unit.
I would have to ship the TV to them in Buffaloe, NY and that they would repair and send in back in 4 to 5 weeks. They could not tell me if there was a local repair shop that could do the repairs or how much they would charge.
Where can i get a replacement dvd player mine is dead
I have the same problem, no picture only sound. I also push the LCD button and it comes back on for a second, then goes black again.

I was watching tv when the picture went out. I press the turn on/off screen botton and the display comes back but for only a couple of seconds.
