Sounds like you have a video card issue. You will need to replace your video card in your PC..Also, you can take another monitor and hook it up to your PC to see if you get the same results

Screen suddenly does not display image just

There are two places to look for the problems, the backlight inverter board and the power supply, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc.

ViewSonc VX924 LCD Monitor

Check the information at Viewsonic's website regarding their warranty:

http://www.viewsonic.com/support/warranties/limited-warranty/

If you have your proof-of-purchase and it shows the monitor is less than a year old, it would be covered. You would need to follow the procedure on their website to have the unit repaired or replaced, but it would not be your job to try to fix it.

About a problem in my viewsonic monitor

Hi

Actually the common problem of viewsonic LCD monitor is bad electrolytic capacitor at primary, secondary & inverter area, if your lcd using power adaptor test the voltage out, use analog or digital tester range 50v dc, if the voltage out is accurate dont be sure to your adaptor working good, open it and find bad electrolytic capacitor inside. That is common problem of viewsonic LCD monitor could cause of display flashing then back to black after few seconds. Suspect inverter area lastly mainboard.

Gud Luck!

Viewsonic E53 monitor

Base on the information given to me.

I think your computer is on sleeping mode.

first thing check if the video cable is not loose connecting the pc.

because what would happend, if it is loos it would turn on and off at times.

The other thing you can do.

right click on the desktop.
go to properties
go to screen saver
click on power

adjust the time you want your monitor to shut off.
