Where is the battery on the life fitness 95xi

THhe life fitness 95XI display does not work - where is the battery located to change

95xi machine goes into pause mode when being used.

Check the gap between the magnet on the drive pulley and the reed switch that is mounted to the frame.

Just bought a used elliptical 95xi, it runs very rough- it almost seems like there is too much tension and when I up the level of resistence it becomes very rough to ride.There is a clanking noise as well...

If it was used from a gym then it probably needs a ton of professional work. If it came used from a residential setting then it probably doesn't need much, but still needs professional service.
