Remove music from your collection
To delete a single song

1. In the Songs pane, find the song you want to delete.
2. Tap and hold the song, and then tap Delete.

To delete more than one song

1. Tap Select (the icon with three lines).
2. Select the songs to delete. You can also tap More (the ellipses icon) and then Select all to select all the songs, and then unselect the songs you want to keep.
3. Tap Delete (the trash can icon).
4. When you see the prompt "This will delete from your phone and cloud connection. Are you sure you want to delete?" tap Ok.

Step 1: To Delete the songs you don't like from iTunes library: Launch iTunes > Click Music mark > Select My Music > List your music as Songs > Select the songs you don't like > Click Delete to remove them. Step 2: Connect your iPod to computer > Sync the music from your computer to iPod with iTunes

You must connect to the computer with iTunes. There you can select the music you want t delete.
For that wait till the iPod is backed up by iTunes, then on the left side click on the line with the name of your iPod. Then on top click on Music and then you see what music you can synchronise.
If you already did remove the original backups from the music on the iPad, there is a chance iTunes all remove all these numbers.

How to Delete Music from iPod in Batch

You will see your iPod's name directly underneath that with an arrow pointing to the right. Click on the arrow, which will cause it to rotate until it is pointing downward and a drop-down menu will appear with all your songs listed. Click on a category or playlist, which will bring up all the songs in the list in the main section of the screen. Choose on a song listed that you would like to delete and right click on it, then click "Delete" from the drop-down menu that appears to delete your song.

5. Go to Music and swipe
6. Delete will pop up
7. Press Delete
This will delete ALL songs, but will not remove the music app.

To delete music connect ipod to itunes on computer.In music folder under your ipod name you can then delete music.

connect it to itunes.. click on the ipod and under the music tab.. uncheck sync all music from music library
