Hard reset on the emaachines el1200 manually

Did you lose just the files that you saved on the hard drive? Or did you lose all of the programs and files? Either way you needed to make your own recovery disk before you lost the information. It is too late to get a recovery disk made after you lost everything. You will have to purchase the programs (software such as windows 7) again. If you just lost just what you saved in the files (pictures, resume, etc.), then it is gone forever.

do wan't IE8 Browser or Google Chrome.if ie8 you have to choose it in settings.make preferd browser.

nope recovery disks are either made specific to your computer or come from vendors otherwise they don't work too well

Click Start/My Computer and see if you have a drive label Recovery. If so turn off the computer and immediately hit the F1 thru F12 key repeatedly until you get into Recovery. The most common key among manufacturers to get into recovery is F11.

Sometimes there might be a Recovery in the Program List. Click Start/Programs and look for Recovery. Sometimes the Recovery will be inside of one of the eMachines Folders.

You can always go to your manufacturers website and see if they offer a restore disk and you can try eBay.

If you lost the recovery disks, it means you lost all but you can solve it by doing reformating your pc hard disk. YOu have no choice but to reformat it

if your pc came with disc and you have lost them, contact the pc manufracture and ask for replacement, you may need to pay for shipping or some sort of set fee.

if your computer did not come with recovery disk then do following.
most notebooks/desktops makers try to save money by not making recovery cd anymore, instead they put the recovery partition on the hard drive, which is hidden.
your computer should have come with recovery disc creator tool software from which you can make cd/dvds.

acer has e-recovery management tool built in.

if u have OS installed on hard drive there is a separate partition on hard drive that hold OS files in a safe place in case u lose ur recovery disk u can get ur system reset to Factory Default without recovery disk

if u want to factory reset ur system without recovery disk u can do following but it is always safe to have recovery disk in store in case ur hard disk crashes and u are in trouble

The recovery disc program prompts you at first startup, but if you ignored it, you can search for it in the start menu. Once it's running, it prompts you through step by step.

the program is called "recovery disc creation wizard" u can type rec in search and u can find it easily
