Just figured this out myself - couldn't find an answer on the internet or Colibri's website.
Look at the bottom edge of the pocket watch near the hinge (the end opposite of the post). On my watch, there is a small indentation, barely noticable, along the bottom of the side of the back cover directly opposite (but very near) to the hinge. Take a small fine screwdriver (as you would use to change a screw in a pair of glasses), and gently pry that into the groove. A small amount of force is required, but the back just "pops" off.
Keep in mind, there is a risk of scratching the cover. So if that risk is unacceptablen to you, a watch store should be able to do this as well. But it was pretty easy. Hope that helps.

Place the tip of your pocket knife in the slot on the back of the watch. Pry the back off.
Take your tweezers and grasp the metal piece that is hiding the battery.
Once that metal piece is out the battery should come out too.
Put the new battery in and cover it with the metal piece.
Put the back of the watch back on and snap it into place.
