I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and I ALWAYS go to youtube.com for information on how to do anything and everything on my phone.
Rather than try to explain it to you here I would suggest that you go to youtube, do a search on "how to forward...on a Samsung Galaxy 3" and I'm sure you'll find a ton of videos there. That way you can watch and pause, watch and pause, until you get your phone the way you want it!
